I guess its been a few days since the last time i blogged. Thought maybe, with the down time i have right now, i might aswell make it usful & update everyone.
SO wedding invitations went out the last couple weeks. I have already got some RSVP's back & im super excited to see already who is coming. My best friends Jen already got her invitation over in the US - didn't take as long as i thought. She was super excited to recieve it. ALMOST slipped through the doorway with all the excitment!
I also recieved a phone call last Friday about the last of the girls dresses. They are ALL in now with measurments done. I still have to make my appontment to get my dress hemmed & fixed. Only 79 more days till the big day. Along with the dresses come the tuxes for the guys - thats going to be a chore for sure. At least i know that we dont need to get them till 1 month before hand [guy at the bridal show told me that it would be PLENTY of time] I was able to get all the guys aswell $30 off the rental & Joe would be FREE since there are 4 other guys renting from this place. I can't wait to see how this all turns out.
There is still quite abit left to do tho. Or at least i feel that way.

Feb 6th - Meeting with minister at the church [little nervous haha]
Feb 12th - Stag & Doe for Joe and I.
March 5th or 6th - POSSIBLE Bridal Shower
March 12th - Hair appointment to fix my highlights
March 19th - Hair Trial/Make-Up Trial [SUPER excited for]
& the days that i do have available i will be getting things finalized & ready for the wedding. I need to fix up our Program Fans & print out our colouring books for the young lads. Finsih off the bridal party gifts & the odds and ends for Joes tux.
I should really make a list for all of this Hahaha.

OHH HAPPY DAYS!
Today is a good day. Your probobly thinking 'this woman is on crack!' Naw, just in a really super good mood. Usually its the other way around feeling grumpy & irritaded. But not today. Im mostly looking forward to Monday tho - i will post then what all the excitment is over.
My best friend Jenny & I have been talking all day about EVERYTHING. Wedding, Life & Love. You know how us girls can work with all the sappy things. I cant defiantly say shes my partner in crime - COMPUTER STYLE!
I also got some more wedding things accomplished this week. ALL the invitations are sent out & some people are already receiving them. Have had quite a few comments on them. I designed both my ceremony & reception invites - baught the products online & then assembled,printed,cut & glued them all in place. It was alot of work but it is so VERY worth it in the end. Next on the list to do is FIGURE OUT my centerpieces. I have done these bad boys over like 5 times already. I guess thats what you get for planning yoru wedding for 2 years. Things arent the way you liek them or they arent perfect enough. LOL im going for something simple,elegant but easy to put together. Ill have to post a picture once i know what im doing.
This weekend tho is going to be the big one. I have program fans to print & put together. I also have it to myself, well aside from my mother in law. Both my Fiance Joe & his dad are going with a friend to Pennsilvania [sp? sorry if its spelt wrong] for a racing seminar so this will give me the time to get things done. Saturday i will add is busy with me going to town with one of my bridesmaids - shes picking up her dress [YIPPY], i then have a meeting with my MOH, BM & MIL for our stag & doe which is in one month [Feb 12th] then at 5pm my MIL & will be traveling to my nephews birthday dinner!! fewf that will be a busy day. Then Sunday i am gong ALL DAY for a bridal show for my home based business Gold Canyon Candles. Then by midnight Joe should be home!! LOL
But before this gets too long - i will close this post off with a quote "Love was a word I didnt believe in. Dreams were a myth but all of my dreams changed, the day you found me"

The Beginning Of Something New
Where do i start - well im getting married this year [WAHOOO!!] to my amazing fiance whos also my high school sweethear. We've been together for 6 years & have been planning this wedding for 2, now its finally here. I have also had a best friend of mine step down & postpone her wedding this year, which i thought was best for them. After talking to her about it, I can see that its whats best for not only them but for their future together. I respect her choice & will 100% be behind her through EVERYTHING. Now i have something to look forward to in 2012.
Aside from all the wedding stuff, 2011 is going to be my changing year. Hence the name of my blog "New Year, New Life && The New Me" There has been so many negitive people in my life for the past few years that i just think its best for not only me but my SOON new life with Joe. I would much rather get rid of the problem now then to carry it on over & keep thinking that things can be fixed or people will change. I have learnt in the last TWO DAYS what i thought was a good thing, tuned out to be very hurtful & upsetting. I never thought in my life that ONE PERSON whos suppost to be there for you for LIFE, be so cold, heartless & most of all hurtful. It really drained me emotionally but with the help from good friends & my amazing fiance, the time has come to let go & carry on into the future. Really its for the best & it will hopefully save me in the end from getting hurt again. I also wanted to take this time aswell, to THANK everyone who has been there for me not only as a friend but as a person who cares & tries to help out. I've take ALL ADVICE given to heart & will explore them all. You people are truely one of a kind & i cherish the friendship we have created. I LOVE YOUS ALL.
So, to end this blog i will post my favorite quote "It would only take a moment to say 'I love you' BUT it would take me the rest of my life to show you"
